Savage football heading to State Championship game Savages 20 - Kootenai 18 The Salmon River Savages pulled out the last-second win against the Kootenai Warriors Saturday when Dylan Rinker caught a pass from Charles Jaramillo-Swan in the end zone for the touchdown while the buzzer was going off! What a great way to end it at home! It was a nail-biter but our boys fought incredibly hard, like always, and we are all so proud of them for their "never-say-die" attitude on the football field. It was inspiring and exciting to say the least. There is not a team anywhere with more heart and determination. It is truly incredible that so few guys can keep up that intense physical pounding out on the field. They are mentally and physically unmatched. The Booster Club, the school, and the community are so proud of them for their dedication to us, their fans, and to each other.
